187 Crew Team Clinics

187 Crew will be hosting 4 hour team clinics at Fox4 Paintball to help North East teams develop some best practices and prepare for the 2012 season.

Team Fee

$375 Fee – 5 player entry and 5 cases of paint. This is a team fee – If you show up with 4 payers, the price is still $375 and you still get 5 cases. Additional players will be $75 each and include entry and a case of paint.

Schedule

· 1on1 warm ups: 15 minutes

· Scrimmage (4on4/5on5): 15 minutes

Goals: Every team has different bad habits and good habits. Before teaching you anything, we want to be clear about what your teams’ habits are. Understanding HOW to get better is the first step to a better team.

Individual Skills

· Snapping: 30 minutes

· Positional Play (snake shooting, Dorito bumping, lane holding): 30 minutes

Goals: After years of developing bad habits, you must re-learn how to shoot. Maintaining correct posture and body control will increase your accuracy and make you a smaller target.

Organization

· Game planning (lecture): 15 minutes

· Off field jobs – Pits, Coaching (lecture): 15 minutes

Goals: In any tournament, a good game plan will win you matches. We will teach you the different types of game plans, when to use them and why, and also what to do when everything goes wrong.

Team Play

· “Loud” 1on1: 15 minutes

· “Sticky” 2on2: 30 minutes

· “Red light green light”: 15 minutes

· Closing a game (aggressor, protector, cutoff): 45 minutes

Goals: Good communication is all mental. If you practice working together, it will come naturally under pressure.
